About Nicki
Bonjour and welcome.
My name, if you haven’t guessed already, is Nicki Hicks. Originally from the great state of Maryland and the edge of the Bible belt, I’m a transplant to Wayne, Maine where I spent the end of my high school years. Then, for college I traveled to Sebago Lake, where I attended Saint Joseph’s College and graduated with a BS in Business specializing Marketing and Advertising.
Lucky for me, I landed a killer job where by day, I am the Search Engine Marketer at flyte new media. By night, I’m wonder woman. Just kidding…or am I?
Between 2008 and 2011, I spent my time with things like working tirelessly to improve the house I bought. Crap, that was my Dad; I’m the one who tried to help out. I also coached for two years for the Saint Joseph’s College Cheerleading squad.
In early 2011, I decided I wanted to go and live somewhere a little different for a little while. I chose St. Augustine, Florida, where my best friend had already lived for a year. I got to keep my job at flyte (I’ve decided I’m the luckiest person alive) and also got a gig coaching cheerleading at Flagler College with my BFF!
I’m also a self-proclaimed yogini, wannabe artist, semi-granola, puppy momma, wine lover, and eternal optimist.

I love you! I am so proud of you it isn’t even funny! If I hadn’t married and had children of my own so quick I didn’t even think I bliknked, I’d probably BE you! LOL My Mom always told me not to “grow up so fast!” and I think I am finally “getting it!” Anyway, I am happy, the happiest mom on earth so it makes everything I did worthwhile, but I do adore your accomplishments and wish things had been different growing up. Sorry if that meant any disheartening on your part. It was all very complicated, as I am sure you must know. We will talk soon…I can’t wait to visit with you in Florida! TTYS cuz

I’m so glad you’re happy and I just know you’re a WONDERFUL Mom! It’s funny…that’s exactly why I’m moving – so that I can live a little and not grow up too fast
Unfortunately we can’t change anything that happened in the past..but I’m so glad we’re changing the future! I can’t wait for you and Annie to come down and visit me in FL!!!
